I suppose that the kulan at zoologico nacional came from Russia or China.
Does the san diego wild park still have kulan ? Have they been phased out of the US zoos ? '

I have seen on the gallery from the photos that giant eland posted that the kulan from san diego are now at Shadow Nursery. So the kulan herd at Zoologico Nacional de Cuba may actually be the only herd of this species in any public zoo in all the Americas.
