Do you know if the boobies are breeding? I have never seen this species, or for that matter any other species of booby in captivity.
 
I only saw a pair of Boobies in this aviary. They seemed pretty loved-up, so may have been a breeding pair, but I don't know any more than that. I don't think the zoo has any reason to breed them as they are so common even just along Lima's coastline. In my experience, the majority of Boobies in captivity tend to be rescue birds, but I find them to be much more impressive in the wild diving after their food like darts. The same applies to Gannets, though there are many more of those in captivity.
