I believe that this is a natural sand hill… Though I'm not 100% sure anymore… I can remember this was an archeological excavation site or something like that…

It is a runa, an actual inca - quechua pyramid. There is a sign explaining this. other zoos have fake pyramids, Parque de las Leyendas has the real thing. Actually there are various runas in the Lima area.
