It was a first for me too, and probably the most active Tamandua I'd ever seen. I really enjoyed the rarities of this zoo and there were many firsts for me that day.
From what I understand, there are several colour variations seen in the northern and western reaches of their range - this being one of them. I don't know how common this form is, but it's rare in captivity at least.
