Giant Eland 1 Aug 2013 Definitely the first I had seen! They're kept off-exhibit indoors actually, in nice sized enclosures. This is a little area right outside the building they are kept in.

Giant Eland 7 Jan 2024 @Brayden Delashmutt I'd severely doubt any plan to. They seemed difficult to keep captive, even in Peru. Not sure about historically. They are relatively easy to see wild in Costa Rica near Quepos.
