With apologies to the deer, this beats seeing Sewerby's Formosan Sika Deer on Christmas Day (and finding out a Pygmy Goat had died). What an excellent photograph.
Haha, thanks. The Christmas visit was quite brief actually, with a focus on the shows and getting better photos of some birds where possible. Luckily I'd visited a few days previously and had spent several hours admiring the park.
