Not exactly a pleasant enclosure for it either, although if had some more land with greenery like that, it would be nicer. Least it has a moat (albeit an icky looking one) to cool off in.
Not sure about subspecies, they looked like Bengals but likely hybrids. They had access all the way down to the moat, not great but infinitely better than the little cages inside the lion house.
