The indoor exhibits for Asiatic lions (Panthera leo persica) inside the Carnivore House in Aalborg Zoo. The indoor exhibit is made up of three different rooms that can be separated. In my humble opinion visitors are way too close to the animals.
The lions in these pictures had just arrived and could choose freely between their indoor exhibits.
The new Carnivore Exhibits opened in 2012, twice doubling the space the big cats have outside. The old house was maintained, expanding the visitor facilities and giving it an Asian theme. The old big cat indoor exhibits remained unchanged except for the old leopard indoor exhibit that was rebuilt to also house tigers.
