The viewing area by the land area in the polar bear (Ursus maritimus) exhibit in Aalborg Zoo. The exhibit is furnished with rocks, gravel and a large pool. Many enrichment activities have been designed into the exhibit. The top part of the exhibit can be separated dividing the exhibit in two and the water area takes up about 1/3 of the exhibit space.
The polar bear exhibit is made to look like a Greenlandic fjord and was opened in 1999.
