It may just be a comparison to the light backdrop but this pied crow's pale/white parts seem quite dark and greyish compared to examples of the species that I have seen before though I would be comparing it to animals I saw in South Africa which had pure white and a massive contrast with the black. This coloration looks much more greyish, almost like that of a hooded crow.
