One of the biggest attractions in AQUA are the five articifial lakes located next to the main building. Visitors can observe the life in the lakes from inside the building and the five different lakes represent five different freshwater biomes: The Polluted Lake, The Clean Lake, The River, The Bog and The Otter Lake. A brilliant concept really inviting vistors to observe the life ind the Danish lakes and rivers.
This is a very nice habitat for European otters. Decent size, large pool and lots of vegetation. Very interesting for the visitors as well with great viewings both over and under water.
