A small part of the exhibit for raccoons in the Aquapark of the AQUA Freshwater Aquarium in Silkeborg, Denmark. This is an absolutely gorgeous exhibit which continues beyond the bridge in this shot. It is spacious and lush with a shallow stream running throug and it allows the raccoons to climb, dig, seek shade and have some privacy.
The raccoon is not a native species but AQUA also has a major theme about invasive species and their impact on the enrivonment.
