How many foals have been born to date at Tehran Zoo.
I am sure that they would have had some Bahram e Gor or Touran blood?
(so no blood relation to any of the onagers in European or North American zoos).

Yes, they are of Touran National Park

Perhaps an exchange with Hamburg (the European studbook holder) would be nice. BTW, 6 onagers is a nice breeding group.

Any other Iranian zoos or captive facilities have onagers now (apart from the reintroduction project in central Iran)?
