An overview of the walkthrough enclosure for barbary macaques in Givskud Zoo, Denmark. Fantastic spacious habitat with lots of tall grass, climbing frames, big rocks and terrain elevation. Visitors walk through this enclosure which is WAY bigger than you can see on this photo.

Do the trees follow the fence-line? If so, that's huge - it looks like a really nice exhibit for both the macaques and visitors.

Yes, the trees do follow the fence-line. Try looking at this picture to get a better overview of the enclosure. It is fantastic for the macaques and a good visitor experience

Thanks, this looks like an awesome exhibit. In fact, going through this gallery the entire zoo seems to be between good and brilliant, would you agree?

Yes, I think that I would. All the drive-through enclosures are large and grassy as well as the other paddocks for hoofstock in this zoo. Some of the good exhibits at the zoo includes the ones for moose, chimpanzee and blackbuck while the faboulous ones are for banded mongoose, pygmy hippo, barbary macaque, gorillas and lemurs. I will upload more pictures shortly :)
