A view into a small part of the lion enclosure in Givskud Zoo, Denmark. Givskud Zoo is also a safaripark and this is one of the drive-through enclosures. This one features a large group of lions The enclosure itself is a huge patch of fenced-in Danish woodland in which the lions have a prime habitat.
The lion enclosure is the oldest exhibit in the park. When Givskud Zoo originally opened 40 years ago it was simply known as the Lionpark and had nothing else.
