Althrough this picture is in the Kenya - WILDLIFE Gallery, it does look like a captive animal with the wire on the background !

That's what I thought when I first saw the picture, but then I realised - that size mesh wouldn't keep a lizard that size captive!

I see what you mean, didn't think of that when I uploaded it!

Yes, the lizards can go through the mesh, and there's also about a five inch gap below the mesh that the lizards can get under but is obscured by the rock in this picture.
This lizard was at the same viewpoint as I took this picture

and the mesh is to stop people falling off the cliff. You can actually see the fence which this mesh is part of on the far right of that picture.


Most people take pictures of captive animals in a way that makes them look wild, I take pictures of wild animals in a way that makes them look captive
