The amphiteatre by the gorilla exhibit in Givskud Zoo, Denmark. Here visitors can sit and view the gorillas and it is also here that the feeding presentations take place. On a hot summers day visitors can cool their feet in the running stream. The visitor pathway is well integrated in the whole feeling of the exhibit.

Is that small stream all that seperates the gorillas from the public?

No, of course not. That small stream is only for the enjoyment of the visitors. The barrier between the gorillas and visitors is the broad water moat in the background.

So the amphiteatre does not appear to face into the gorilla exhibit?

No, it does. The gorilla exhibit curves a bit out to the left. It is hard to explain but come to Denmark and I will show you ;)
