LaughingDove 23 Sep 2016 I believe this is in fact Trachylepis varia rather than T. striata. Though my field guide lists both in the genus Mabuya.

Hix 24 Sep 2016 Mabuya was split a few years ago and many of it's species ended up in Trachylepis. I haven't got my books with me but I agree this is not T.striata.
