Acanthocercus atricollis, South Africa

Taken December/January 2012/13 Kruger National Park, South Africa. Can anyone identify this. It could be very obvious but since I don\'t know much about reptiles I am not sure.

Definitely an agamid, but genus Acanthocercus. This one is probably A. atricollis.

To be more precise: this is Acanthocercus atricollis atricollis (SMITH 1849) - Southern tree or blue-throated agama. The species is widely distributed across East, North-East Africa down through parts of C.A.R. and Tanzania to the arc Angola-Namibia and Rep. of South Africa.

The genus Acanthocerus has 10 species in all and is more or less this part of the world and Middle East / Near East.
