A ring-tailed lemur (Lemur catta) on the Madagascar Island in Givskud Zoo. This exhibit features dense trees, tall grass and various dead trees and logs and provides a prime habitat for the lemurs.
The ring-tails share the island with red-fronted lemurs (Eulemur rufus), black lemurs (Eulemur macaco macaco) and Lac Aloatra bamboo lemurs (Hapalemur alaotrensis).
The Madagascar Island is a walkthrough exhibit opened in 2007 along with the EAZA Madagascar Campaign.
