Part of the third savannah exhibit on the Safari Route as seen from the savannah viewing hut in Givskud Zoo. This exhibit houses southern white rhinos (Ceratotherium simum simum), cape buffalo (Syncerus caffer caffer), black sable antelopes (Hippotragus niger niger), gemsbok (Oryx gazella) and black wildebeest (Connochaetes gnou).
Originally this exhibit was a drive-through but the wildebeest started teasing the rhinos and they had trouble distinguishing the wildebeest from the cars.
The rhinos moved to this savannah exhibit in 2001 when a new stable was built for them. In 2005 a viewing hut was added so the rhinos could be seen by visitors on foot.
