What percentage of the exhibits are viewed from indoors? I've heard that this facility is truly world-class, with rare species, outstanding animal habitats, and even 30+ off-show Arabian leopards! How long does it take to tour?

100%. Every exhibit is viewed from indoors. :)
The visitor never steps out of the main building, which is convenient given the extreme temperatures of the UAE's deserts. The adjoining breeding centre has a brilliant species list, and they do a lot of good work. To take a good look at most things, it takes just over an hour. I went round twice though, as it meant I saw more of the reptiles and nocturnal animals active. I was also moving quite fast because it was getting dark and I didn't have travel arrangements for my return to Dubai.

@animalszoos in general, no. The Breeding centre (BCEAW) is closed to the public but many species kept there are represented at this public facility.
