@DAVID Brown - the body shape was not like that of a Goliath, but was more reminiscent of a scarab, like Mario suggested. However, I have absolutely no idea about beetles so I could be way off. If it is a dung beetle, it's big enough to roll an entire elephant turd.

It is a Dung beetle, however don't know which species.

it is a Heliocopris dung beetle. There are a number of species.
