The models in Islands in Danger show how the komodo dragons leave the nest before scaling the trees for safety.
The models in the elephant house show the variety of animals that live alongside the elephants (there are real hornbills and squirrels as well!). When you walk through the house, you are meant to believe you're walking in a forest, so you'd expect a number of animals in the undergrowth.
