This is one of only 4 birds registered to ISIS in Europe. I'm pretty sure Walsrode has a pair. San Diego gave 2 pairs to Whipsnade in 2005. They have since bred. One of the females, the one in the picture, came from Whipsnade.
It is kept in a large indoor aviary opposite a pair of Hooded pittas and monserrat orioles in a glass tank( a big one!!)
