Hi folks. A friend went to Mongolia recently and can't identify some of the animals in the pics he took so I volunteered your services. Any ideas what species this is?

Would you say potentially Phrynocephalus versicolor? A wikipedia list of Mongolian reptiles comes up with only two Phrynocephalus species, and only three agamids altogether [though obviously not extensive, it can be a good start]. [Phrynocephalus helioscopus is the other option]
I thought of helioscopus, but the lack of the red/orange behind the front arm made me think otherwise. versicolor popped in my head, but still some variation of definitive pics in my books. I was thinking przewalskii.
it's ok. do you mind if I post this picture on facebook? I have 100's of herpetoculture friends from around the globe that could possibly I.D. this phrynocephalus.

ok. it is currently undescribed but labled as Phrynocephalus cf. przewalskii, according to my friends in the U.S. and St. Petersburg Russia. hope that helps, nano'. it looked similar to my przewalskii, but varied in colour and pattern.
