These two were in the open area of the Wings of Asia display and looked as though they might be immature. Based on the species on display my guess is Siamese Firebacks. Would appreciate a definite id

I would say Silver pheasant - note the color of the legs : brown-grey in Siamese fireback and red in Silver pheasant.
 
Thanks for the reply but looking at photos of female and immature silver pheasants, none of them seem to have the tail and wing pattern. I see your point about the leg colour though.
 
vogelcommando is correct. I think they might be female/juvenile lewisi.
 
Definitely Silver Pheasants. Various subspecies have different wing, tail and breast markings.
