What is the long-term goal for the Polar Bear Project in terms of the number of bears that the facility can hold? Also, how much acreage is the entire complex?
I was talking to a keeper the other day they were saying it depends if they decide to keep a bachelor group or house a breeding group. If it is a bachelor group then they believe it may hold up to 12 individuals although that would be far less if it was a breeding group with one female and probably only 2/3 males depending on the age.
