I really enjoy the South American exhibit area at the Reid Park Zoo. The one thing I always found strange was the lack of primates. I was surprised that there wasn't at least a marmoset or tamarin species included in the exhibit.
Yes, that would certainly enhance the area. I know we cannot have great apes due to Valley Fever (a dust-born illness endemic to the area), but I'm not sure if this applies to monkeys also. Since we already have gibbon, macaque and mandrill, I guess not.
