- Bengal Eagle-owl (Bubo bengalensis)*
- European Eagle-owl (Bubo bubo bubo)
- Snowy Owl (Bubo scandiacus)
- Spotted Eagle-owl (Bubo africanus africanus)**
- South American Great Horned Owl (Bubo virginianus nacurutu)
- Mackinder’s Eagle-owl (Bubo capensis mackenderi)
- Boobook Owl (Ninox boobook)
- Chaco Owl (Strix chacoensis)
- Spectacled Owl (Pulsatrix perspicillata)

*Not seen
