@Charlie Simmomds - I disagree, the Malawi cichlid community was well past its best. The pin-striped damba were always the classiest fish in the Aquarium (with the possible exception of the Omani Garra barremiae), so it's nice to see them back on show in the signature tank, with attractive aquascaping too.

Have to say I'm with gentle lemur on this one - much nicer than the old setup.

I like cichlids, in fact I keep ciclids, but the old tank only wowed me in terms of its stocking levels. This one has more about it somehow.

Yea it seems more relaxed and better in terms of space for the fish not over stocked to the brim

Don't forget that the pin-striped damba is Critically Endangered. Assorted Malawi cichlids can be purchased very cheaply at your friendly neighbourhood petshop.
