Odense Zoo 2002 - Chapmans Zebra

Chapmans Zebra.

These are not Grevy's Zebras, they are some subsp of Plains Zebra, probably Chapman's.

Again, what can I say except it was the middle of the night...

They have Grévy Zebra today, according to the Zootierliste, but these look like Damara or Burchell's Zebra so I'll label it accordingly.

Odense Zoo does have Grevy's zebras nowadays and has had them for a few years now. I thought that they have had them for much longer and this photo sparked a search into my "archive". The result: Odense Zoo has indeed housed Chapman's zebras until a few years ago. I am afraid that you will have to rename your photo again, Baldur

Oh well well, what I don't do to protect and honour the truth ...
