The 22 terrariums at the back are unsigned and all house tarantulas. The terrariums in front house (from left to right): Grey's twig, Tree Nymph butterfly pupae, Tree Nymph Butterfly caterpillar, Dead Leaf Mantis and Giant Millipede, Asian Forest Scorpion, Mexican Red Knee Tarantula, Ornate Horned Frog, Madagascar Hissing Cockroach.
Keepers will bring out live specimens three times a day for interaction with visitors.
The place looks much better and the tanks are very well landscaped. I saw the interactive bit and it's quite interesting. Staff was very engaging and knowledgeable.
I also heard that more invertebrate species will soon be joining.
@DavidBrown I think it is, at least within the four WRS parks (Zoo, Night Safari, River Safari, Bird Park). There is also an extensive invertebrate display of both live and dead specimens at the Sentosa Island Butterfly Park and Insect Kingdom. Marine invertebrates are displayed at the SEA Aquarium too.
