this photo was a surprise hit! Yes the rocks are amazing colours, and in just seemingly random associations of colours too.

For those who read the Ladakh account in my thread where I talked about the little tracks winding across sheer hillsides - this is one of those hillsides. The bharal was standing just above the track, which is that indent in the slope just at the bottom (between the two knobs on the slope). You can't really tell it's part of a track from the photo though.
