Nice exhibit for this species and what space (sadly not normally giving over to tortoises ...). Perhaps adding a beachy head area + succulents would be the icing on the cake.
I am almost sorry to disappoint you but this exhibit no longer exists. It only functioned as a summer exhibit and the tortoises had to be moved from it every autumn.
The aldabra giant tortoises moved to the new Tortoise Giants exhibit in 2006, a state of the art giant tortoise facility. All of my photos of it here on ZooChat have been deleted but you can check out the ZooLex presentation. The house and outdoor exhibit are much more lush and green now than on those pictures though.
