New Enclosure Construction at Hamerton, 19/11/16

'Who lives in a house like this?'

A covered, but as it stands open, enclosure, grassed, with planted fake rockwork, a dividing mesh fence diagonally across the middle (with protected shrubs) and viewing windows only on the upper half of the wall.

(there's no signage or anything to indicate what this will be home to)

Last month it was signed as being a new nocturnal house. It did include the shrubs, but not the turf; which to include in a nocturnal house certainly seems a little odd, to say the least. See here; View of Construction Work on the New Nocturnal House- 16 October 2016 | ZooChat

Yes, that sign's still there - but I really struggle to envisage this as a nocturnal house! I guess time will tell..!

How can this be a nocturnal house, with glass viewing panels on the outside wall?

This building has been under construction for some time now, but I believe the original plan for it to hold Sloths, bats and meerkats has changed.

Probably Sumatran Rhinos.
