Elephant-deer-monkey enclosure

July 24 2016
Yes I can :). In this large enclosure Asian elephants, long-tailed macaques and deer are living together. In the large indoor-elephant house at ground-level there are the enclosures for the elephants and on the first floor several enclosures for the macaques.
On this plan ( Plan Dierenrijk 2016 | ZooChat ) the enclosure are the numbers 13 - 14 and 17, the elephant-house is B.

Do the monkeys have access to the same ground as the elephants? What about the deer? Do they have retreats? Thanks :)

My last question: do the monkeys have access to that green 'island' of foliage?

Okay, I lied. One more question: What's your overall opinion of Dierenrijk?

Diversity is not as large as in many other Dutch zoos.
Enclosures are is general good to superb.
Education is.... is there education :( ?
About the monkey's I'm not sure but I guess the "islands" are protected by hot-wire, otherwise I don't think they still would be green.
