I'm not sure I've ever seen a diopsid in a zoo. Have you come across any more since? Even with their short(ish) lifespans, I'd like to see some of the bigger collections make an effort to display them. They are totally bizarre, evolutionarily fascinating, and commonly kept in laboratories, after all.
