Another area of the zoo due to bite the dust to make way for the Savannah. It was the penguin exhibit until June 2003 when Living Coasts opened, and has also held Rodrigues fruit bats and agouti in recent times. The Nocturnal House (and now the meerkats' indoor quarters) is behind it, along with tapir/capybara accommodation.
