My apologies for the technical quality of this photo; it needed a lot of work in Photoshop to get it to this poor standard. I was so pleased to be able to see this remarkable display, even though the aviary seemed almost as dark as the aye-aye enclosures. I have hoped for years that someone would remove all the dead leaves over the aviaries to let some more light in
I note that Swampy got a better image nearly two years ago.
I recommend anyone visiting Chester in the next few weeks to call in at Dragons in Danger while it's quiet if they can.
