Black-breasted leaf turtle

Vivarium, RotRA, Chester, 17th December 2016.
These little turtles are charming, particularly when they pose like this, you can see the black breast :)
The only problem was dreadful light intensity, which has restricted the quality of this photo.

@Charlie Simmomds They are in the second set of Reptile exhibits opposite the orang indoor windows, just before the white-lipped pit viper and the Thailand water dragon. There is a pair, but it can be hard to see them as they are very small (for adult turtles) and the exhibit is thickly planted.

Ahh right that's good, I'm too use to the zoo's herp exhibits just being repeats prime example the new enclosures in DID I wish they brought back the original three iguana species instead of putting in existing species in the zoo.

@Charlie Simmomds
According to the 2015 Annual Report, the zoo had 2/3/0 of these turtles on 31/12/2015. I must disagree with you about the thinking behind the new tortoise exhibits in DinD. The zoo has accumulated a lot of very rare chelonians in the last few years, but almost all of them have been held off-show. I think it is a very good idea to get them on display and I don't think that they will duplicate any of the existing exhibits. In particular, I hope to see the ploughshare tortoises one day.

I see your point but it is the same 3 animals in each enclosure, if they where all differing species, such as the ploughshare or others, I'd be much happier but oh well.
