@kiang This is a separate paddock for elephants, which has an overlook (to the right) in which visitors look to their right into the 40 acre paddock as well as the elephants' to their left. ZooLex has a really good map of this particular exhibit (Watani Grasslands Reserve) if you would like to take a look.
