It is big although I'm not sure what to compare it with. It's an old quarry so there's a U shape of cliffs surrounding a grassy area, along with the housing. The animals can use all of the exhibit, from the bottom to the top - where you can see a fence on this photo. They can easily 'vanish', making it a challenge to spot them.
An added attraction for the anti-social visitor is that it's off the beaten track with a faded sign just saying 'Barbary Sheep', so you can often watch them in peace. However, I was told that the zoo is hoping to get more people round there when the enclosure for Takin (and possibly Rock Hyrax) is built opposite this one.
