Lore Lindu National Park, Sulawesi, 2009
Also called Diabolical Nightjars or, less-imaginatively, Heinrich's Nightjar. Known from only one specimen collected in 1931 until rediscovered in 1996 at Lore Lindu.
There used to be a photo of these in the gallery but it was deleted in the Great Purge. I was just looking through my photos for something else, came across this and thought I should re-upload it because nightjars are such fantastic birds.
