The viewing and proximity is awesome but the enclosure is rather disappointing and smallish. I'd say it's in the same league as habitats at the San Diego Safari Park and Memphis Zoo.
@pachyderm pro It looks really close but beyond the guard rails there's a thick row of thorn bushes and then a steep wall (idk how to describe it but there's a big drop between the exhibit ground and the viewing area). Gorillas definitely can't get to people, and I guess someone could get to them... if they jumped over the railing into thick thorn bushes and then fell into the exhibit?
