Why do I always think of a cottage hospital as I walk past this aviary?
Behind the cottage are a range of off-show aviaries, which can be just be glimpsed behind the red panda and echidna enclosures. The loud 'Ow-wow!' calls of a male great argus were coming from one of them today.

@Gigit No, I'll stop and comment what a shame there are no Choughs at Paignton any more. They should restock...
