No more fountain

I wonder what's happened to the otter fountain. Not dumped in a skip somewhere I hope.

Apparently it was removed in one piece and is being stored somewhere. Its future currently uncertain

They should install it on the second roundabout as you enter the zoo, before the park and ride

Or perhaps in the funny little pond between the entrance and exit paths of the Elephant House.

Tragic. They could have developed the dilapidated 'Fun Ark' and the wasted space around it (the rear of the old Mauritius kestrel aviary is a disgrace), rather than blighting this area of the zoo and uprooting the fountain, which was, if memory serves, an important donation.

At the very least, put some animals in the space - for example, expand the lion enclosure!
