A view inside the Asian Snake Temple in Randers Tropical Zoo in Denmark. The Asian Snake Temple is made to look like part of an old Angkor Wat temple ruin. In here visitors can observe free-ranging Taiwan beauty snakes, spotted pythons, radiated ratsnakes, northwestern carpet pythons and tokay geckos as well as a few butterflies.

The Snake Hall originally opened in 1997 but was completely renovated and re-opened as the Asian Snake Temple in 2008.

Free-ranging snakes? Has this been done in other places as well? And how easy is it to see the species in here?
