I remember reading how this exhibit created a lot of publicity for the zoo, and it's neat to see zoos all over the world (like London Zoo and others) using humans as props to create an influx of cash via a boost in attendance.

Perhaps they sterilise the males. Humans are not exactly an endangered species.

Even with the lush vegetation and hot tub the exhibit appears to be a bit on the small side. Ha! In all seriousness, what animals are showcased in this enclosure in 2012?

I'm pretty sure these enclosures have gone to make way for the education complex. But one of the Adelaide residents will confirm that (or correct me).

Yes, this is where the Envirodome is now. It is made up of the areas where the chimpanzee, gorilla/orangutan and tiger/human exhibits were previously.
