Please tell me my eyes are messing with me... what actually is this... this thing? It looks as if they converted a crib cage into a giraffe barn. Absolutely disgraceful!
@jayjds2 I'm sorry, I am so confused. There is no way ANY ungulate holding the size of this is acceptable. I understand not everything will be state of the art, but it has to at least be somewhat adequate for the tallest animal on the planet. It appears that it would take 2 steps to cross the entire barn, simply head scratching.
@pachyderm pro well, the photo is from far off and from an angle, which doesn't give a true impression of size. It appears small in the photo but is certainly much larger than you describe. Furthermore, it's Texas. They won't be shut in for the winter, and might even be let out at night.
Perhaps if I saw a giraffe by the structure then I would get a better picture. Yes, I suppose it Texas and their probably not in here much anyway, but I still really dislike this barn.
